Mega-grant scientist Evgeniy Rogaev receives Russian State Prize 2017

On 12 June President Vladimir Putin awarded State Prizes of the Russian Federation for achievements in national sciences, arts and humanities. Evgeniy ROgaev, Doctor of Biology, received the award for discovery of genes, as well as molecular and genetic mechaisms responsible for hereditary diseases in humans.

Dr. Rogaev founded the Center for Neurobiology and Brain Neurogenetics in the Institue of Citology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Center was founded lsunvhrf in 2013 as a part of the mega-grants progra,

Mikhail Alfimov, Sergey Gromov, and Alexander Chibisov, fellow researched of the "Crystallography and Photonics" Research and Development Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences were also distinguished in the same research area during the ceremony.
